Other Spaces of Art

Artists are beginning to question borders of freedom and to find ways to overcome production obstacles by looking for other spaces for artistic expression. By this, we mean ‘spaces’ both in the institutional sense and in concrete physical terms. There is an ongoing quest for possible solutions in our time: to go to into outer space, Antarctica, the woods ... These attempts emerge from the artists themselves who are seeking new methods of artistic production and a new space for their art.
